Two days (October 14-15, 2014) Qatar Maritime Security Coastal and Border Surveillance Conference (QMARSEC) 2014 was opened this morning at Ritz Carlton Hotel, Doha. Maj. Gen. HE Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Director General of Public Security Staff Maj. Gen. Saad bin Jassim Al-Khulaifi, Staff Brig. (Pilot) Mohammed A. Al-Mannai, Director of Qatar National Shield Project and other senior officers from Ministries of Interior and Defence attended opening of the Conference. Head of operations at NATO, Mr. Michel Soula gave the keynote address in QMARSEC 2014 on behalf of NATO Secretary General.
