Two days ago my little two year old, Ibrahim got bitten by a mosquito on his left foot. It had an allergic reaction and his foot within half an hour just popped up like mini balloon. It was 15 min before we opened our fast. I, being a mother panicked and tears of anxiety and fear filled my eyes. I immediately rang the Dr. Requested him to wait for us at the hospital which is 20-25. min away from our house. We were just panicking and couldnt care about breaking our fast or anything else besides getting there!! In the midst of all the chaos, I suddenly remembered all my innocent children from GAZA! I felt ashamed of myself. Guilty for panicking so much for so little that had happened. Imagine lifting a bloodied baby in your arms. Having no Dr to ring. No hospital to take him to. Wishing that may death ease his pain!!! I cried really really hard. Why is this happening there? You dont need to be a Muslim to feel the pain. You just need to be human! I urge all the people on my friend list to do their bit. Boycott Israeli products. It is their growing fear as vast majority of people world wide join this boycott. Living without Mc Donalds, KFC, Pepsi, Coca Cola, MAC make up, Estée Lauder etc will be difficult but not as heart ripping as holding your bloodied baby and waiting for death! Ease the pain of the suffering, Oh Lord God of the universe. Grant them patience and peace as their homes burn. Give the people of Palestine enough strength to out live the on going holocaust!!! Freedom will come Palestine, freedom will come....
