Two days ago, we were accosted by a group of policemen at a police-check point, while driving pass that path. Asked to park & stop, a bit upset I was, but we had no choice than to obey before complain! Having parked & alighted from the car, approaching the police stand, one of them immediately caught my attention- he was sniffing a hard drug.. After salutation, one first question I asked my new friend was, Sir, are you a Christian?. I had to ask so that it would help me to know how best to relate with him. His reply? You guessed correctly! Now, with tears almost kissing my eyelids;(, I said to him, Sir this isnt good for your health. and his response was, I know. He knew??? His response just proved the fact that on the last day, no man will argue with GOD. He said he knew! The discuss continued... Again, I said to him, Pls, Sir stop taking this substance His response at this time made our gist a little bit more interesting. He asked me a good question which goes thus: Is there anywhere written in the Bible that says thou shall not smoke?? Wow! What I wanted!! He had just brought in the Bible into our discussion. I had not mentioned the Book yet, & to be frank, I am not sure I would have mentioned it, if he hadnt. It seems that, many many times when we are too reluctant in doing certain things, the HolyGhost has a way of taking over to do those things himself.. His question was rightly asked. But I didnt answer his question directly.. I responded to his question by equally asking him a question. A question that made all those around laugh. Here was my response to the mans question: Is there anywhere written in the Bible that says, thou shall not eat faeces?? Even the police man did put up a smile at my response. One could tell, he understood me well.. But just then, his superior abruptly & stylishly ended our discuss, by saying, You are now free to go. It was a short time! Hmmmm. Here was I from the onset, unhappy that we were been stoped & delayed by a rather set of idle people; not knowing it was a divine opportunity to sow a seed into the life of a soul.. And as I approached the drivers door, to open & continue my journey, I looked to the direction of my new friend, & said to him bodly, JESUS IS COMING SOON, Sir He responded almost immediately, I have heard. Again, he said, I have heard! He said that himself. He, perhaps must have said that casually, but I very much do know that the HolyGhost always has a way of making something out of nothing; making things that may rather seem so casual into indispensables.. Praise GOD! I thought this a testimony worth sharing... #Maranatha
