Two days left till 2015! In 2015 we will train 20+ teachers in advanced reading comprehension techniques, work with 250+ students at four different elementary schools, screen hundreds of patients for diabetes and other preventable diseases, conduct in-home visits to diabetes patients, teach healthy living habits in schools to children/teachers/parents, train small business owners in good business practices and more. Part of CUDAs mission is to carry out cost effective projects - we dont build buildings or invest heavily in short-term opportunities. Instead we hire quality staff that invest their time and energy in to making a personal difference in the lives of project participants. CUDAs operating budget for 2015 is a little over $70,000. That covers rental/maintenance of our facilities, salaries for our workers and execution of all projects.
