Two freinds win an unbelievable jackpot in Japanese arcade Oliver Wheaton METRO UK Two young travellers were trying to experience a bit of Japanese culture recently, but they got a lot more than they expected. Max Stanley, from Perth, Australia, and his friend visited an arcade in Japan with hands full of coins and hearts full of luck. After a few minutes and lots of swearing at a bizarre coin drop/slot machine, they hit the jackpot. They really hit the jackpot. To the amazement of the two lads, and everyone else in the arcade (including the staff), the machine opened up and started pouring out coins at an alarming rate. The lucky guy can only shout in disbelief ‘this is happening’, as he is buried in coins. Max and his pal actually seem a bit worried at one point as they are unable to pocket the continual flow of awesomeness. He claims the coins (which are actually arcade tokens) finally amounted to 5000 in total. We can only presume he was able to exchange them for a really big teddy bear.
