Two girls sat on their own in the middle of town in tears, not wearing anything warm, had a bin bag between them and asking people for money or somewhere to stay. They genuinely looked freezing and its cold and misty tonight. They looked a bit younger than me, maybe 17 or 18. Went to subway and got them a cup of tea each. They burst into tears and I got a hug. Two cuppas from subway = £1.75. Kindness costs nothing. Their reaction? Priceless. I pointed a police officer in their direction and told him I was concerned about them, he thanked me and told me he would make sure they found somewhere safe to stay at least. Pay it forward. Take care of each other. 💙
