Two good updates for all of my kitty claw-loving friends: * Client comes in for a pre-op exam to declaw his 9 year old cat in time for the arrival of new furniture. I (politely) explain why this is an awful, inhumane idea. Client goes to another vet for a second opinion. That vet says the exact same thing. Client leaves me a note that theyre on their way to get some cat scratching towers! :) * Client comes in for pre-op for a declaw on a young cat that she recently adopted. After educating her on nail trimming, having her practice (she did great!) and talking to her in depth, shes amazed how easy it is, and I later get a gift certificate for a massage! :) See...its good to keep those claws! ;)
