Two horses in Kenosha County, Wisconsin that were living outside and suffering in these brutal winter temperatures are now safe!!! The Kenosha County Sheriffs Department refused to take any action to help them and actually prevented others from providing food or shelter to the horses and would not even address calls about them apparently. Well, thanks to a group called Global Conservation Group, their online petition, and the help of animal advocates who took action for these horses, they are now safe and are in a barn. A win for the animals!! Thank you, WTG everyone!!! :) UPDATE 1/08/15 - Global Conservation Group posted the following on their Facebook page Thursday evening: VICTORY: Just 24 hours after launching our campaign in an effort to provide adequate shelter for neglected horses, nearly 3,000 people signed our petition, called the sheriffs department and shared our action alert.
