Two-hundred and thirty eight years ago today fifty six men signed a resolution declaring that all men were created equal with unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; where the Government derives its powers from the consent of the governed. Twelve wars and over 800 thousand lost lives later we continue to celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence remembering freedom is not free.
