Two-month traffic curbs to facilitate Metro Rail works Hyderabad, December 11: City Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy on Thursday imposed restrictions on the movement of vehicular on certain roads to facilitate the works related to Hyderabad Metro Rail. “In order to relieve congestion, to maintain smooth flow of traffic and to ensure public safety and order, in connection with the erection of the permanent barricading for foundation and pier activities of L&T Metro Rail from Chaderghat X Roads to Malakpet Railway Over Bridge for a period of two months, certain restrictions and diversions are being imposed,” said the Police Commissioner. As per the notification, all the traffic i.e., two wheelers, cars, Light Motor Vehicles, etc., coming from Kalikhaber Road towards Malakpet will take divertion at Chaderghat X Roads – left turn via: Chaderghat bridge – right turn – Chaderghat – right turn – Chaderghat Cause-Way to Malakpet. All the RTC Buses coming from MGBS towards Dilsukh Nagar will take diversion at Chaderghat X Roads – left turn via: Chaderghat bridge – right turn – Chaderghat – right turn – Chaderghat Cause-Way to Malakpet. Similarly, all the traffic coming from DMHS and Koti towards Malakpet instead going chaderghat bridge will take divertion at Chaderghat X Roads towards Chaderghat Cause-way. The district RTC Buses coming from MGBS will be diverted at Chaderghat X Roads towards Nimboliadda – Amberpet – Golnaka Bridge – Moosarambagh X Roads to go towards L.B.Nagar. Likewise, all the vehicular traffic which is coming from the Dilsukh Nagar to reach Malakpet / MGBS / Koti is diverted at Moosarambagh left side towards Golnaka Bridge – Amberpet – Nimboliadda – Chaderghat to reach Koti / MGBS / Charminar etc.
