Two months ago, I made the decision that I will not be returning to Princeton University this fall. I am now setting out to join Watson University, a school that brings together a handful of young leaders from around the world in order to equip them with the skills necessary to tackle our worlds most-urgent social and environmental challenges. I will participate in their one-semester social entrepreneurship program that will teach me how to conceptualize, design and successfully launch a change-based project myself. I had the opportunity to visit Watson over spring break, and the alignment I felt with the fellow students, the schools immediate environment and especially with Watsons determined and idealistic ambitions was extremely inspiring and energizing. Before I attend Watson in September, there lies one last challenge ahead: Fund-raising. Because Watsons capabilities for offering financial aid are limited, they have set up a website for us to raise funds that will be directly subtracted from our tuition fees. Because I so deeply believe that Watson will help me make the world a better place, I will really appreciate any contribution you can make - no matter how small.
