Two months ago, I wrote an article Zimbabwean Civil Society must speak truth unto power to counter EUs rising realpolitik. That article made me a few enemies as some felt that I upset the EU donors. On hindsight I should have written that article in my own name, because firstly I live in Europe and as a tax payer there, I have a every right to rebuke the EU under article 10 of the European Convention, and secondly Zimrights latest betrayal is nothing but playing to the EU drum. The EU has reneged on democracy promotion and is now supping with the devil obsessed with the sovereign fund issue. When I go back to Britain next week, I will raise this sharply with number 10.
