One of the reviews was from a mansion tour! “Amazing Historic Home” While visiting our son over Thanksgiving, we were exploring the area and wanted to tour the Belle Grove Plantation Bed and Breakfast. Brett and Michelle were so kind and gracious to show us their property and explain the history of the area. And, we were treated to an outstanding tour that covered every possible detail. Thank you so very much, and we cant wait to come back and stay in your beautiful Bed and Breakfast! Mansion Tour Guest Jasper, GA “The Gem of King George County” This year marked the first New Year my boyfriend and I spent together as a couple. He surprised me by booking us a stay in Belle Groves Madison room. To begin, the room was impeccable. It was beautiful, spacious, and bright due to the windows which offered glorious views of the river. The large canopy bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the sunset from our big claw foot tub. The rest of the plantation house was wonderful. The décor (which includes sofas used in the movie Lincoln) turned back the clocks to a time of southern ladies and gentlemen. Since both of us are historians we loved learning all about the extensive history of the house. And since I have always wanted to live in a Victorian world this was like stepping right into my perfect fantasy. Michelle and Brett were the perfect hosts, charming and attentive from beginning to end. They greeted us at the door and helped us settle in, gave us suggestions for dinner and different nearby attractions and served us the most amazingly decadent breakfast our first morning. They were very accommodating to our dietary needs. All in all it was an amazing trip that created many wonderful memories for us and we will definitely be back soon. Belle Grove Plantation was five star excellence and we will recommend it to everyone we meet, whether they are looking for a historical journey or just a beautiful place to get away from it all.
