Two nights ago I awoke in the middle of the night to one word ... SPITTLE. Thats right. Spittle. Spit. Saliva. The bible tells us of three spittle miracles. Two that cured blindness and one that cured deafness. But why did I hear that in the night?? It occurred to me that I should look up the custom of the Hebrew concerning spittle. To spit at or on someone was considered the ultimate insult. So why did Jesus use his saliva to heal? The people of the second temple period were well aware of a tradition of the Sages which proclaimed that the saliva of a legitimate, first born heir would have healing properties against injury or disease. If there was ever a dispute of heirship, the disputed sons saliva would be used to anoint the affected member, healing was expected to miraculously take place if he was legitimate. This to them was considered a test as to the legitimacy of the true heir if there were ever any questions. A TEST!!! Oh my!!! A test of LEGITIMACY! Thats why I heard SPITTLE!!! Saliva. Jesus was proving his DNA. By using his saliva. His spittle!!! Whats the easiest way to test DNA today??? By saliva! He was telling me in that one word spittle .... I AM WHO I AM!!! And he was also telling me as heirs to his throne we also have that same DNA! We have proof in the spittle. We have POWER IN HIS BLOOD !!! He was letting me know the proof is there. Power beyond anything we can ever imagine. The DNA of Christ. Within us!!! Alive! CLAIM IT.
