Two of our pastors will speak at different MLK events this weekend. Pastor Jim Bear Jacobs will preach on ethnicity, power and privilege at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Sat, Jan. 18 at 9:30am (1200 Marquette Ave, Minneapolis). Pastor Jin S. Kim will preach at Calvary Baptist Church on Mon, Jan. 20 at 6:30pm for their 13th Annual MLK Reflective Service: Strength to Love: personal transformation at the root of social justice. (2608 Blaisdell Ave. S, Minneapolis). Also, remember we will mark Race Relations Sunday in our own worship service this Sunday at 10am focusing on mass incarceration and the new Jim Crow.
