Two of the core achievements of the 20-year old Armenian-American cooperation in agriculture are the development of modern style agricultural support agencies in Armenia and the human capital formed as a result of this successful transition, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Armen Harutyunyan, an ATC graduate who was conducting the “Armenia-US partnership in agriculture” forum on September 26 in Armenia Marriott hotel. The forum highlighted the achievements and the heritage of the US projects implemented over the last 20 years with the help of the US Government, USDA, USAID and other US agencies and emphasized ATC/ICARE as one of the most successful and steady results of the US-Armenia cooperation, together with CARD (Center for Agribusiness and Rural development) and Farm Credit Armenia.
