Two of the greatest promotions of all time. But both had one rule that stuck in everyones mind and made you mad as a fan. Over the top rope disqualification, the heel does this behind the refs back all match you get mad. The Babyface does it once and just so happens to get caught and disqualified. AWA also had the top rope rule for a while as well where you couldnt jump from the top rope onto your opponent. Do you feel these rules were outdated in the 1980s going into the 1990s? Or did these rules make you as a fan not want to watch the product?
