Two people are dead following an officer-involved shooting Friday morning in Redding. Witnesses told Action News Now that Redding Police were called to a stabbing at a home on Willis Street around 2 a.m. Moments later, a man with a knife apparently threatened officers, who fired at the man when he would not obey orders to put the knife down. The man with the knife died at the scene. No officers were injured. Action News Now has also learned that investigators have discovered another man dead inside the home. The Shasta County Sheriffs Office is leading the investigation in this case as part of protocol.
