Two pieces of tiles were found on the roof which had been peeled off from the pent house wall and dropped down. It has to be occurred by the continuous heat wave that has updated the extreme weather record. On the other hand, the natural exposure test on self adhesive membranes is going well as ever. They have been exposed since early 2008 with 14 months break between Apr. 2010 and May 2011. The total exposure time is more than four years. Except for the membranes on the aluminum substrate, the rest of specimens have behaved well with the other substrates. Regarding the specimens attached on the aluminum plate, the surface layer is peeled off in six months by the excessive temperature level induced by the absorbed solar radiation. However the similar problem does not have been occurred on the other specimens so far. Needless to say, these membranes are never exposed to solar insolation without any exterior cladding in the normal building practices. 連日の猛暑で屋上ペントハウスのタイルが剥離していましたが、メンブレンは元気に暴露に耐えています｡アルミ板表面に貼り付けたものは、日射受熱量により半年程度で表面層が剥離してしまいますが，それ以外の下地材では問題は生じていません｡ 言うまでも無く、実際の施工で、これらの膜材が直接太陽光に暴露されることは無く表面は何らかの外装材で保護されます｡
