Two prominent PDP activists quit party in north Kashmir Srinagar, August 11: Two prominent activists of pro-India Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday left the party and joined a new party. According to GNS, Shabir Mir and Hameed Wani from Gulmarg constituency of the district left the PDP at a public convention at Kunzar. On the occasion, the duo joined a lesser known Jammu and Kashmir Azad Forum party and Shabir Mir, who is a prominent businessman, was nominated party’s candidate from Gulmarg constituency. (GNS)
