Two random WFTDA 2014 International (which part of me **really** wants to use Intercontinental instead) Playoffs observations: 1) Rose City. Victorian. Philly. Atlanta. At least one of those teams wont qualify for Champs. Rose hasnt been since 2011, but Atlantas qualified the last 2 years, & Phillys qualified about every year (At least since 2008.) Let that sink in for a bit. 2) If Im ever appointed as a THA for D1 or D2 playoffs, I think Ive found a formula for success: load up on as many Canadians (current and ex-pats) as possible; include as many ARRG/Gatekeepers/SCDC announcers as you can get; toss in some Detroit, & fill in the gaps with the best of whos left.
