Two reasons why tonight is lovely: 1) Im eating a large slice of Dikkont, which translates literally to Fat Bottom - its a round, chubby sweet spiced bread with cinnamon, raisins, and candied ginger - its a specialty of the little town (Gieten, NL) where my father-in-law lives. We get one every year when we visit and it disappears very quickly.... 2) I am consuming the Dikkont while sitting on our cottage patio and were counting the number of bunnies whove come out to graze on the lawn...7 so far. Vacation. Its happening. For realz...
