Two scumbags caught one to go, lets wish the young lady a speedy physical recovery because after that the mental recovery will follow.Physically we can bounce back pretty fast but the mind can be a whole different factor altogether, she may end up suffering from PTSD & will need future counseling.This is one of the reasons I believe that all civilians should at some point undergo some form of counter measures/counter violence training from a qualified teacher.The physical training gives the person/trainee the hand to hand & hand to weapon tactics needed for countervailing an assault but a good instructor also provides the mental training to deal with the pre, during & post phases of a criminal assault which helps complete the overall matrix.
