Two seasons ago, I spent a night checking out all the big clubs in Ibiza and was struck by how surprisingly dull a lot of it is these days. Tiestos performance at Privilege looked like 10,000 people waiting for the worlds largest bus to arrive. Those supernatural nights where the DJ appears to be communicating personally with each member of the dancefloor were nowhere to be seen. -Bill Brewster I chuckled when I read the part about Tiesto....Its ashame that there are clubs/DJs in Chicago, The birthplace of House Music, that simply follow the masses. Im glad that places like Smart Bar Chicago still exists with events like Queen! at Smart Bar- Sundays with legendary DJ Derrick Carter, and Hugo Ball with Justin Aulis Long who still keep it real. No pre-recorded anything needed in this House.
