Two things I found out tonight about my relationship with the felines in my house: 1. I bought a chicken wrap sandwich for dinner and I was so hungry and wanted to eat first before doing anything, after stepping foot in the house. I scoffed it down while seated on a stool outside my front door. If I had gone in, I would be attending to them first. With the cone, Thundercat has to be given extra special attention at mealtime and my head was already pounding because of my empty stomach. 2. I made the mistake of trimming off the edge of Thundercats cone. I thought it would make eating easier for him. And it does, but it also means that he can now reach out and lick (what remains of) his balls. So, he has been busy licking. The poor cat then makes his way towards me, wanting some TLC and I find myself going no! I cant stand the idea of touching his nose which just minutes ago, was right there by his shaved balls. Hmm, there are limits to love.
