Two things about this video - first and foremost its a clear reminder that dogs are pack animals. While we cannot be with them ALL the time nor likely that anyone has the finances to have them being watched every moment they cannot, there is a STRONG argument here for having ones dog in daycare at least a couple of days a week. More importantly, however, is the issue of separation anxiety - a breakdown on behavioral stability catalyzed by a dog not having a clear sense of place or order in its pack. Most important - work with someone who understands canine behavior and can help you get your dog to a stable place and then remember that once you get to that point the work never stops and so augmenting your dogs care with some occasional trips to daycare can help greatly.
