Two things are significantly bothersome about this story that may not seem obvious at first: 1- Limestone County is clearly not a place familiar with the idea of equality or fairness. This is the same county responsible for giving a known rapist community service for his crime last year. It appears that the problems in Ferguson may be closer to home than we think. 2- The news is calling this vandalism. How diminishing. Lets call it what it really is - a hate crime. This behavior is beyond disappointing. Im in awe of the women who manage to be resilient and strong in spite of these horrible actions against them. This type of action is never okay. Ever.
