Two things that really ground my gears today... 1. Local paper....one picture about the protest on front page alongside a big heading I hope im the first to go to jail for non payment Cllr Mc Brearty interview. He had feck all to do with the protest but still managed to sneak up onto the bandstand (or should that be bandwagon) last saturday. No other mention throughout the paper of the protest. It seems it was more newsworthy to fill it with pictures of kids dressed up for Halloween instead of covering one of the biggest movements in State history. 2. Driving to work today and just turning at Kilross onto Letterkenny road and what do I nearly drive right into?.......A white transit van belonging to Irish Water DOING A U TURN at one of the most dangerous junctions in Donegal. That idiot could have caused major carnage. Who the hell do they think they are? Didnt get his registration as he was halfway across the road in front of me when I slammed on the brakes and it was too dangerous to stop and get out of the car. Is there even any point reporting it to the Gardai? Probably not. This concludes the rant for today......tune in tomorrow for more anger.
