Two thumbs up for the BBC who ran a report last night on prime time TV News at 10 from Mong La on the Myanmar/China border. This notoriously lawless town has illegal wildlife markets everywhere, dead and dying endangered species including pangolins, tiger cub skulls on sale, ivory, and who could fail to be moved by the pitiful sight of a tiny black bear cub for sale outside a restaurant. If you intend to watch the BBC report please be aware that there is footage of locals feeding the crocs, Mong La style, with live ducks, towards the end of the report. bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-28772647
