Two ways to think about dispensational theology When I was 15, oh, wow, these are the end times, the troubling events in the news were fated to happen Now that Im 55, oh, great sorrow, this is dispensing with Christs teaching, the Sermon on the Mount, the Lords Prayer, distorts being elect opting for privilege over against service, misinterprets salvation as evacuation before destruction of the earth over against renewal and redemption of the earth. Im hoping that folks might read the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) daily and pray the Lords Prayer hourly so that they might discern that the goal is not leaving anyone behind but converting foes into friends, enemies into siblings, and hostility into love
