Two weeks after I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit which took place on 14th March 2009, I joyfully submitted to water baptism as was led with a mighty rush which came upon me not of my flesh but of the Holy Spirit who was at work within me. I desperately desired to have my old life be buried in that water and rise up out of it a new creature. Indeed the Lord himself/the anointing was already at work like fire on the inside of me. Onwat that time I had not known a great many gospel songs yet my soul requested for this song to be the song dedicated and sang out loud in the atmosphere as I was, escorted into the baptism pool and received water baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit by my beloved brother in Christ Pastor Jackson. I was also given the opportunity to have a scripture read out which was read by my beloved sister Natalie, as I enter the pool and behold that scripture which the Lord had comforted me with was Psalms 23. I am blessed to have an actual copy of the baptism service in which a total of 11souls had surrendered our lives to Jesus, it is my prayer that my brothers and sisters (most of whom were young children) remains anchor in the Lord. I am encouraged to pray for each of them as the DVD just reminded me of how much of a great rejoicing it must have been in heaven on that day. Jesus was the one who choose me, he was the one who called me and as I listened to Pastor Jackson uttering the words the Holy Spirit of God planted in his heart he declared this: I know that all heavens are rejoicing today.. Hazel because you have decided for Jesus and you have decided to follow him all the way, and with your friends, and relatives and co-workers looking on you have decided that this is the way you want to go because is the way, the truth and the life, we do now baptise you in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit my beloved sister Shaunille then ministered the chorus of My Help and as I look as her I knew she was worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth, it was a blessed day in my life as a born-again child in Christ Jesus. The Lord truly has been my shepherd, and indeed all of my help and teacher and correction and counselling have all come from him, he provides my every need, and truly it has been only Jesus way I have been diligent in following, it has been Jesus truth that I will only submit to and it has been Jesus life I care to submit to and represent. IT AMAZING ME HOW POWERFUL EVEN THE WORDS THAT ARE UTTERED WHICH ARE NOT SPOKEN THROUGH INTELLECT AND THE INSPIRATIONS OF SONGS AND SCRIPTURES WHICH ARE PROPHETICLY MINISTER INTO OUR LIVES ...ALL I CAN SAY IS WHEN JESUS HAVE CALLED YOU NOTHING CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM HIM :) BE BLESSED ALL :) JESUS REMAINS MY SHEPHERD, MY HELP, THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE THAT I SURRENDER TO...O HOW I LOVE HIM SO MUCH BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED ME :) I CONTINUE TO REJOICE IN THIS NEW LIFE IN HIM, IT MEANT A LOT TO HAVE HAD MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND MY CO-WORKER SHAUNILLE WHOSE SWEET SPIRIT DREW ME TO WANT TO KNOW HER GOD, AND NOW HER GOD IS ALSO MY GOD...GLORY HALLELUJAH...SUCH JOY...GOD IS SO AWESOME, I HAVE ALREADY WITNESSED ONE OF MY FAMILY TURNING AWAY FROM THIS WORLD AND SURRENDERING HER LIFE TO JESUS AND I KNOW THAT BY GODS GRACE I HAVE A LOT MORE TO WITNESS...THANK YOU JESUS....KEEP HAVING YOUR WAY LORD :)
