Two weeks ago my husband gave me a mani/pedi for my birthday. I decided to get acrylics on. Yesterday I kept thinking I need to go an get them filled and shortened. Well I didnt and last night I was getting some work done around the house and caught my artificial nail on something and ended up ripping my nail off.... Not just my artificial nail but also my natural nail. OUCH!!!!! I have never done this before!!!! It is not completely off it is still attached about 1/8 of an inch from my cuticle. So I called my mom and as per her suggestion wrapped it so the the nail is still pressed to my finger. Well is has now been 24hrs and I can tell you that my finger still HURTS!!! It is SWOLLEN!!!! And no amount of Tylenol or Ibuprofen is helping the pain. So I am just taking this opportunity to whine and complain!!! Also I am wanting to let anyone know that might be considering ripping their nail off that I have broken my wrist and sprained my ankle four times. I would rather go through any if those injuries than EVER have to deal with this again!!!!!!!!! PS Thank you to my wonderful husband ( Jonathan Kurtz ) for putting up with me today and working so hard!! I love you!!!!
