Two weeks ago the county commissioners went against several environmental reports and their own staffs recommendation and approved a zoning change that an additional 1/4 mile up the mountain in Alpine will change from agricultural to residential. We need to get 20,000 Utah County Signatures to challenge this and put mountain development on the ballot at the next election. I know this doesnt directly affect Provo but it may open the door to letting developers throughout Utah County further develop all of the mountain sides in our county.
