Two weeks in a row I had breakfast at the same cafe in Drummoyne. The waiter/barista sees me reading the paper provided there - an inflammatory headline SYDNEY UNDER SEIGE . (referring to the fact that were apparently surrounded by terrorists - no not the telegraph - this was the SMH - shame on them) Anyway... he comes over and starts saying yeah its a worry mate, if those dickheads in Campbelltown and Lakemba wanna stir up shit theres gonna be another Cronulla riot and Ill have a front row seat man. Well teach em. (I didnt mention I lived in campbelltown for 7 years). Then the following week Im there and he yells out some bogan mates at the front table HEY WHATS THE NICKNAME FOR THE BULLDOGS? - ISIS! BAHAHAHA I didnt mention that I supported Bulldogs for 20 years. But really its great to know were in an environment of volatile polarity and intolerance. Tony Abbott will do very well out of this. Thats sad. Whats even sadder is that I will return to that Cafe next week because this troglodyte makes a brilliant decaf mocha and now I have a gig in sutherland. gee my life is poetic....
