Two wholly unrelated thoughts: 1. I left my wallet on the bus with all the things that are generally in wallets, including a fair amount of cash in two different currencies (just returned from Shambhala). After calling Metro, I was informed that someone had turned it in, not a cent missing. Thank you, whoever you are. Nice to come home from a place full of loving people and still be impressed by the kindness of strangers. 2. Joan Cusack is fantastic. I never realized her genius until fairly recently, but now will never forget it.
