Two years: Just a few years ago, I would never had thought of myself in the floral business. Yet life is funny that way, from hobby to a very small business that I can work from home. This way, I can take care of the kids and have flexible work hours. I gave myself a minimum of two years and maximum of five years - Within these years if things dont work out, I will quit then. Two years to promote, ie. Work for almost nothing to promote Floral Signatures. Five years if I still dont have at least X numbers of orders/clients, then really, time to quit. Well, It has been two years. I am no longer working to promote. Thus, had to turn down a few offers. I feel badly but I need to be kind to myself, and those long hours were killing me...lately, my parents need my time too. As I was hoping to take time off, work comes to me. It turned out to be awesome because, I need distractions from life. I must remember, working with flowers is my break. Of course, working with nice people....lol! I am excited to be asked to make arrangements for a special event. This talented lady loves my work. She is very kind, and wrote to me - Only you can do it right... I am overjoyed with her kind words yet at the same time, the pressure is ON!! As I am looking at my vase collection, and bought new ones...I am designing in my head what I need to do, very excited to found them. They are PERFECT!! Thinking - Even thought its Spring time, not going to make spring arrangements. Focus on the theme and the event. While designing, calls about my mother is home from hospital and waiting to see specialist....I am accepting things beyond my control. A lot on my mind, Matthew comes to me with silly jokes. Oh the things Matthew makes me lol..... What is one thing someone says that you know its full of sh*t? As a mom.... Homeopathic... Someone has to go the washroom... Hahaha.... :P
