Two years ago ,I sent this motivation letter to IAESTE Jordan in order to be part of the team, and now after two fruitful years its time to say goodbye. Thanks for everyone who was a part of this journey :) Respected Sir, I, Mohammad Alayyan, currently in my third year at Jordan University would like to apply for voluntary program of IAESTE at JU. I am currently pursuing my BA in Mechanical Engineering and I fully understand the need to have a real work experience and to gain practical knowledge especially in the field of Engineering , I also understand the importance of creating a clear and wide perspective of the traineeship and voluntary work . I have found that I am decently skilled in the art of persuasion. Ive had a knack of getting my point across very well, communicating with people and understanding their needs. My skills lie in my ability to comprehensively read and understand the situation and act quickly and yet rationally . But these raw skills are futile, unless they are sharpened ; so I decided to apply for the voluntary work organized by IAESTE and JU to help me learn some soft skills which have proven to be effective over many years and facilitate the voluntary work which Im really eager to do and give it a decent share of my current phase. I believe that voluntary work is the track we must walk through to achieve our goals and help other to achieve theirs . Im very excited to live the experience of voluntary work as it increases self confidence and social skills , not mentioning that wonderful feeling someone has when achieving goals , hitting targets and more important , helping others to achieve theirs . As a volunteer I think I will enjoy the fulfillment of giving to my community and helping my colleagues to get traineeships or even getting jobs . This voluntary work would provide me with additional sources of positive work references and time management as long as I believe I will give my best to develop and make this work beneficial and useful for others and for me .
