Two years ago, a charming young mans mother met me at the orientation and said she had heard so much about me. Little did I know, that this young man would be our future Head Boy. Zain Humayun..HeadBoy 2013-14 Amazing, charismatic, witty, bright, caring, popular, handsome young chap! You always pretended as if you didnt understand what was going on. At times you were so lazy, especially when it came to US applications. You never ever gave a serious answer. You always gave the impression that you werent bothered about anything. At times you would give a cold shoulder. Sometimes, you would act so mature that one would wonder if this was the same carefree Zain. Our hilarious fb arguments, you taunting me to the extent that I would only reply in stickers, your counselling during my depression of ivy decisions, you pretending to not be aware of certain events. Infact, I think you were that one student who could always make me laugh, no matter what. The student, who would always message me Good Luck before my quiz, test, exam. And after my paper, the first message would be from you Maam how was it ?. These little things are what really count. I could write so much more. You were someone I could always rely on. You my son are a gem and I mean that from the depth of my heart. You are a very special person and I am sure you must have realized that from the respect students have shown you. I hate farewells and despise goodbyes. But, I guess life moves on.You no longer are a student for me, but a wonderful friend. The best part is that at least we stay in touch with those we treasure. You will be missed immensely, but fb zindabaad!! Heres to a future filled with happiness, success and May Allah always keep you on the right path.
