Two years ago the toughest judge in lee county opened the firewalls of the lee county courthouse for my husband to Skype from Afghanistan and after a long lecture about what it means to be an adoptive parent and how much higher the bar is for us because our responsibility is so much higher...which I completely agree. He lowered the gavel and with a stamp and the swipe of a pen he created a family where a couple had just stood. Jack Logan... anyone who knows us or has met you knows you were created by God to be our child he just had to find a delivery method. Your daddy and I werent who we were supposed to be till you came along. There are so many people who helped build our family and tonight I hold all of you in my heart. THANK YOU ALL! Because of God and you and that crusty judge we are a family and if our responsibility is to love jack and take care of him I promise we are doing more than yall could have ever imagined for him!
