Two years ago this month, I sat on a couch in Merrimbula on holidays, screwed up the courage, and pressed upload to my very first picture to this page... It was only me uploading my cakes for family and friends as a hobby page, but it was scary enough... I was putting myself out there for everyone to see and judge... Id never had a class, and it was purely a hobby away from my 3 jobs and young kids. Last year I registered my kitchen with the council, registered an ABN, took out my insurance,and with my beautiful sister creating me a website for my birthday present I decided to change my page from hobby to small business... Ive cut down to one job (apart from cakes) did two quick crash courses with lovely lisa to learn awesome sharp edges on my cake ( Belle Sambevska, lol) and make a cake pop, lol, and here I am now still loving it, AND best of all, i still get that wonderful feeling when I open an email or message with, Hi, me again you did our cake last year and was wondering if youre free again.. Am so chuffed ! What a wonderful group of customers/friends and people I have been able to encounter so far.... thanks again for your support everyone xxx
