Two years in a row Lindop School is at TECH 2014! Lindop was the only school in Representative Welchs District and Senator Lightfords District. Amaya, DaJuan and Alex presented their 3D video games they made in Agent Cubes to the Illinois Legislatures in Springfield on May 8th. Senator Lightford and Representative Welch visited Lindop Students where Amaya, DaJuan and Alex showed our legislatures how to program 3D video games in Agent Cubes. Senator Lightford and Representative Welch even played our students games (Yes, they each won a level!). Students spoke about how they are doing college level curriculum in 3D video game design. Lindop Students also showed their games to Senator Van Pelt as well as other Business Leaders, School Administrators, Teachers, Parents and students from all over the State of Illinois. After TECH 2014 Representative Welch gave students a tour of the House of Representative Floor where Lindop students learned about how bills become laws. Representative Welch acknowledged Lindop School in front of the entire House of Representatives and the House of Representatives applauded Lindop School! A big thank you to the Board of Education for approving Lindop to attend TECH 2014! And Congratulations to DaJuan, Amaya and Alex for an outstanding job!
