Two young guys win a sales competition at work and they get front row, 50 yard line tickets for the Grey Cup. When they arrive at the game they sit down and notice an old man sitting next to an empty seat. At the second quarter the seat is still empty, so the young men ask the old man why his second seat is empty. He explains that he met his wife when he was the high school quarterback, and they always shared a passion for football. They had attended the Grey Cup for 48 years together. She died recently, so this is the first time he has ever attended the Grey Cup alone. One of the young men asks, ‘Could you not find a friend to come with you? This is a 50 yard line ticket!’ The old man replied ‘I asked all my friends, but they are at her funeral.’
