Tyler has a photographic memory. Those who know him are not surprised by this. He is wicked smart and was reading Harry Potter level before he even started school. But the fun part is the way he imparts his knowledge of little facts. He acts like he doesnt know much about a subject when in fact he knows a ton. Just now Kayla was doing some karaoke singing at the top of her voice for some Christmas song. Tyler innocently asks: Tyler: Isnt there a song called the Christmas song? (My fault for not suspecting here that he knows more than he lets on) Me: I think so, isnt that the song chestnuts roasting on an open fire song? Tyler: yes but bobby helm died 17 years ago. Me: um . . Who is bobby helm and what does he or his death have to do with this? Tyler: oh, you know he was the original singer. Well originally he sang it in 1958 but he recorded a new version of the song in the early 90s before he died in 1997. Now I have no idea what is true or not independently but i believe everything he tells me. He cannot forget anything. This is the 14 year old kid who still can tell me the combination to the door lock at Sanoviv the first time we went and he was 4.
