Type one diabetes is one of the deadliest diseases that every age faces. I was diagnosed at 9 months old. I cant even describe how hard it is to live every day with an insulin pump attached to my side. Insulin is not a cure for us type ones. I have pricked my finger 68,800 times since I was diagnosed. If that doesnt hit you I dont know what would. It isnt a joke or easy in any circumstances. I will always have faith and hope in the JDRF to develop a cure for us. I am tired of bad grades on tests, high and low blood sugars, missed social events, hospital visits, having to worry every second if my blood sugars are moderately okay and the fear. It makes me extremely emotional thinking about the word cure. Please, keep type one diabetics in your thoughts as November moves fast. I am passionate and determined that one day I can say I was a survivor of type one. If you want to donate or get involved, go to jdrf.org to find out more. I know one day we wont have a world without type one. I hope you enjoy this video!
