Typhoon RUBY (HAGUPIT) made landfall over Cataingan, Masbate. At 12:00 pm local time, typhoon Hagupit was located 35 km southeast of Masbate City. The typhoon now measures 500 km in diameter, and is travelling in a west-northwest direction at approximately 15 km/hour, with wind speeds reaching 140 km/hour near the centre, and gusts up to 170 km/hour. Estimated rainfall is between 10 and 30 mm per hour.
