Typical employers seek highly capable and more talented employees outside, but once inside, they often leave them as is, since, well, they believe that since they are great, they can and should be able to deal everything on their own. The employee suddenly quit because there is no engagement, only expectations. The best ones however, seek potential employees and once inside, they cultivate them to become highly capable and more talented employees, they want them to be great and supports them on almost everything to become better employees. The employee finds it difficult to quit, since like a family, it has become the place where he/she grew, engaged, and felt a sense of belonging, and thus, the loyalty.
