Typical work day for me. Show up, re-arrange sunglasses. Clean sunglasses. Clean trays etc etc etc... Even typical are all the customers who approach me Hi, can you help me? with my standard Oh, Im sorry - I know it looks like it, but I dont actually work for the store, I work for the sunglasses/jewelry/sock/watch/plant/scarf/umbrella company (easier to say than explaining merchandising). Today - lady comes up to ask if I know if there are any Indiglow type watches. I give my standard response, and in turn she says Oh, thats good. I shouldnt even be in here. So glad you dont work for them; I never would. Its all owned by the Muslims, you know. Thats why they have that logo and call it Target because they are targeting us. Im not prejudiced or anything but thats what they are doing. I really shouldnt be shopping here. I made the mistake of saying something to the effect that even if it *were* true, something like that wouldnt even come to pass for another 50 to 100 years and wed be dead anyway. Oh, no no no - its happening. Now. Im not prejudiced, but its going to happen soon. Im Christian, so Im not prejudiced... but I really shouldnt be supporting this store. No one should Then I was just getting irritated. I said something to the effect that if we just got rid of religion, there would be much happiness. She went on about yes, religion can go, but as long as we have god etc etc etc. I told her in no uncertain terms that in my world, such a thing does not exist which she found shocking and what on EARTH would I have to live for if I didnt have her god? I promptly told her to have a nice day. What I should have said was how interesting I found it that she was so willing to compromise her (however insane) morals for a $10 watch.
