Typically, on a loved ones birthday, we celebrate their special place in our hearts and lives by gathering around them to lavish them with attention, affection, and (most importantly!) meaningful gifts. Each year on this day, I am at a loss trying to decide what I could possibly give to the man who has given me everything Ive ever wanted.....including the priceless gift of unconditional love. No matter how badly we try to mess it up (lol) or how stressful life gets (you know, with 5 kids, a home, an 85 lb puppy, 2 large families, and a growing restaurant chain!!!), Brandon Mier, you always choose to love me......even when I am down right unlovable ;-) Everyday I receive the gift of joy hearing my childrens laughter as you tickle and tease them, the gift of love when I see you look into the faces of each one of us and smile because of the happiness we bring you, the gift of peace knowing you will always take care of us, and the gift of overwhelming pride and admiration as I watch you trusting God and boldly following your dreams. So, today, your 35th bday, I am giving you the only gift that could come close to all the gifts youve given me: the gift of prayer empowered by my honorable position as your wife......Brandon, I pray that God continues to give me the gift of YOU and that He lavishes you with the gifts of joy, peace and love, not just on your birthday, but all the days of your life.
