Tzu Chi Foundation was the main organization that led the cleaning of Tacloban City and helped hundreds of thousands of Tacloban residents through its cash-for-work program. And up to now, almost a year after Yolanda struck, this Buddhist group continues to help our countrymen. These are 2- and 3-bedroom houses, depending on the size of the family. And they provide foldable beds that can be turned into chairs. The beds alone cost P9,000 each. And the number of the beds are determined by the size of the family. If a family has 3 members, we give them 3. If they have 5 members, we give them 5, he said. Now, if only our government could follow Tzu Chis example.
