Tēnā tātou katoa. Weve had an awesome journey thus far since the inception of this kaupapa. Learning new phrases to suit everyday situations, putting them into practise and opening the floodgates for our own creative juices to flow. Our page is still in its infancy and has soooo much more room for growth, so please do not hesitate to keep adding enthusiastic people to our page, purely because we have some great activities and lessons lurking on the horizon. Over the past couple of days, Ive received some great feedback about this page, both locally and internationally, which reinforces the fact that we are onto something great, positive and invigorating for te reo Māori. Tomorrows exercise doesnt require too much attention, but Normalising Te Reo Māori On Social Media will provide whānau with a karakia Māori to help bless their food. Something we can all learn and help teach our tamariki, wherever we are in the world. The more our kids hear te reo Māori around them, the less daunting itll be for them to further their learning later in life. But, Id just like to take the time out to send a big mihi to those of you who are supporting OUR kaupapa of normalising te reo Māori, not only on social media, but in the world.
